What temperature are you guys seeing for the CPU die (digital)? I'm a little scared . I was playing borderlands 2 for 20 minutes and saw a temp of 100°c when I exited the game. I have a 2.6/16/512

Yep, it does indeed reach that temperature. Sometimes it will hit 105c but its nothing to worry about. The CPU will throttle itself to keep within its thermal limits.

I would recommend getting a program called 'SMC Fan Control' set your fans to their maximum of around 6000RPM when playing games, keeps my temps within 85-90 typically. Should also improve performance in theory through less throttling.

Yea I used to on my old Mac . My brother advised against that. He used to be a techstop or help desk something at Google and saw a lot of fan failures.
