Anybody notice their console riddled with these?

Code:
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR IO0R kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR TA1P kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR TP0P kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR Th2H kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR VC2C kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000
2/2/14 6:53:08.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR VN0C kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff80ecaef000

Likewise, the sensors and fan speed controls stopped responding. I reset the SMC and those are fixed now but still getting these errors.

Mine seemed to start within the last day or so. I haven't made any changes recently

Me too. I just bought this machine and installed my licensed copy of iStat Menus 4, and then about 48 hours later, it just quits working. I haven't really done much with this machine besides install chrome, firefox, office 2011 (updated to SP3), install iStat Menus, etc. Nothing fancy or exotic.

I don't think I have iStat installed. I noticed one of the apps taking 100% of the CPU, unusual. I quit out of it and then checked the console log and found it full of these errors. I was having an unusual issue with reading a DVD earlier, I restarted to resolve...

I dunno why the errors just started recently but when I remove smc fan control the errors stopped populating the console. I used this procedure:

Uninstall Instructions
Please follow these instructions to uninstall FanControl permanently:
1. Remove the following files and folders (both on your start disk):

/Library/StartupItems/FanControlDaemon
/Library/PreferencePanes/Fan Control.prefPane

(You will be prompted for the Administrator's password when deleting these items.)
2. Reboot
3. Reset the System Management Controller (SMC).

Oh, I do have the iStat Pro widget installed and running and something else.. but those just monitor stats, they don't try to control anything..
