iStat Pro always showing

For some reason iStat Pro is always on my screen. I cant remove this. Even if I remove the widget its still there. How do I remove iStat completely from my Mac? Thanks, MC

I was able to remove iStat. I clicked on manage widgets and selected move to trash. It took 3 restarts to empty the Trash before it worked. MC

It sounds like Development Mode was enabled for dashboard. When Development Mode is enabled you are allowed to place widgets on the actual desktop in addition to the Dashboard.
