More info please. What computer, what version of OS X, etc etc etc.?

How are you connecting the phone, USB or bluetooth? Does iSync not recognize the phone when you try to add it as a syncable device, or does it just refuse to sync it?

iSync does support the W810i as it works with mine.

MacBook Pro, 10.4.8, iSync v. 2.3 (500.86)
I am going via bluetooth. First adding it to bluetooth and then launch iSync and click new device. It sees the phone and proceeds to tell me that it it is not compatible.

w810 should be supported. I just got a w810i too... but I am about to send my macbook in for random shutdown problems. So I havent tried isync

Have you deleted the pairing and added it back? If so, try a reboot? I have had flaky pairings in the past and had to try all the old Windows tricks before it would work.

Try this site they have phone plug ins for iSync. It made my K800i work beautifully.

I came across that site last night... just got the Z610i, which of course isn't supported by iSync yet. Might give it a go (I was going to post to ask if that site was reliable or not, so thanks for preempting my question danhig123, hehe)... or I might just send this phone back to Orange. It feels very plasticky and looks very Fisher Price. Hmmm...

I'll be damned...they used to be free.

I'll have to keep that in mind if I evere reformat my hard drive...although I think the w810i might be natively supported now.

Yeah I had to pay for it twice when I reformatted my drive. I thought about trying to manually find it from a backup and drag the plugin accross, but for £1.49, it would have cost me more in man hours trying to make it work than it would cost to just buy the thing again. Plus they have just upgraded the install, making it even easier than before.

Glad I could help!

Danny
