iSync adds dash in phone contacts

I found that when I sync my contacts to and from iSync from my Sony-Ericsson W810i, I get dashes when there's no last name.

Example:

In my phone I'll have "Tom" and "John Smith".

When I sync up with iSync, my phone updates its contact list and the names become "Tom -" while the other remains "John Smith".

Any idea what is causing this and an idea on how to fix it?

I got the same problem with my Nokia 5310 and Sony Ericsson K810. isync adds dash (-) in front of names in my phonebook if they have no first name, and at any space between names. Example: "John Doe" becomes "John-Doe". It makes it very hard to search for contacts especially if the dash is in front of the name.

Any help, pleeeeease..
