iSync help

I am trying to sync both my parents Motorola Razrs using iSync. I originally thought that I could just create different groups in Address Book and use iSync to sync to each group. However, iSync doesn't put the contacts from the phone into the groups it just puts them into Address Book under the All category. I know that using smart groups I can figure out what contacts have been added and then move them to the respective groups, however, I am looking for an easy solution that my parents can do by themselves. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
