Hi all,

Hello from a very new Mac user. Please bear with me as my questions may be very basic for you.

What exactly iSynch does ? Sync MAC HDD with an external HDD ? Can I choose folders to sync ?

I have two external HDD's. I do a lot of photograpohy and to be safe I try to keep two backups. Can iSync help me with sync'ing a Master folder with lot of subfolders on external disk 1 to external disk 2 on scheduled periodic basis ?

Thanks

No, it's not only for Bluetooth devices. You can sync other devices with iSync, but it doesn't fit the OP's requirements.

WHat other devices then? The iSync Help was not really full of information, except it also mentioned USB, though it seems to be limited to phones too.
When I click ADD DEVICE in the File menu, it wants to turn on Bluetooth and when I last used iSync, 2005, it was all about the benj..., Blueteeth.

iSync is for synching with Bluetooth devices.

Take a look at CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper for your purposes.

Thanks a lot sir! Just downloaded and installed CarbonCopyCloner free of charge! This is exactly what I was looking for!
