I know I know, I haven't set a Guinness record but, my iPhones 6S+ battery has finally gone below 49% after 12 hours of use.

I've sent out and read a dozen emails, I was on this forum for 4 hours, checked weather 5-6 times, applied for 8 jobs, looked at porn on porn hub for 30min, used google calendar and added new appointments, made 8 10min phone calls, used map navigation twice total of 20min, sent 15 texts, googled a dozen things, used WhatsApp twice 3min each time, updated 2 apps over wifi.

And the current battery level is 48%.

Yes the iPhone is 2 weeks old, but I don't understand why so many people are complaining about poor battery life.

I have implemented every battery saving feature, perhaps that was the key. Running iOS 10.3.3.

I'm happy with the iPhone as my first Apple iPhone. Just wanted to share my positive experience.

Agreed! My 7+ battery is really great too, usually at about 40% by the time I go to bed. I could leave it uncharged overnight and with the standby time it barely be affected, then have another work day on what's left (even though I still just charge it to full every night lol).

Not doubting those that don't like the battery, I just wonder what they're doing (or what's happening behind the scenes) to drain it.

iPhone is really good at saving the battery life in the standby mode. I am truly impressed. Had same positive experience with 5th gen iPad.

play Pokémon Go for a little while, then come back to the thread - heh

Oh I know games drain battery faster, that's a given.
I used to be a pc gamer for many years. Now days I play TitanfallAssult once week on the iPad. And yes, the game does drain the battery much quicker than watching YouTube videos, so I keep my iPad plugged in.

But that's not the reason I'm happy with the battery life on the iPhone. I don't play games on the iPhone. iPhone is my tool, it's a tool that makes my life better and more productive.

When I get a call from anyone and I get asked if I am able to do XYZ, I respond with; "let me look at my calendar ". In return I get a positive and respectful response.

Ok, getting of topic here. I'm not OCD, but I love having an organized schedule and everything on the calendar. Makes my life easier.
Having that said, battery life has been great on iPhone 6S+.

I agree & I believe that this is the benchmark for battery expectancy. Users who treat the device as a functional tool & not a toy.

Oh...nevermind.

Glad to hear it mate. My SE lasts me a day. Took it off the charger at 5:30 am. Streamed music to Bluetooth in the car, checked and sent emails and meetings, played games, did some homework on it, played music while doing dishes, and checked the forums quite a bit today. 21% and it's only 9:20PM woot!!
