Last week, I bought a Mophie powerstation 3XL battery pack essentially to continue using my ipad when I need to charge it, however, when I plug it and charge it, I found my ipad to be more warm than normal use so I’m just wondering if it will hurt the battery life if I do this often? If so, I’ll consider return it because I bought this essentially to do this and apart from this, I love it and its very convenient.

Thanks!

It’s perfectly fine usually to use the devices while charging, however the thinner the device gets the warmer it will likely feel.
You could always run it by an Apple Store to let somebody take a look just to make sure the heat you’re experiencing is ok.

If the iPad becomes singeing hot, the battery will definitely not appreciate that in regards to its long term health.
