TO. I've moved!
My front yard Tuesday and then today. Jeez, I hate snow.

Early May, maybe. It's 3 days to June, for Heaven's sake. The snow was so heavy it also broke the frame on my gazebo. We need to move....

I heard in Calgary, they had 27cm (10") of snow the last 2 days. Here in Toronto, we were above 32C (90F) the last few days.

I know. I used to live there and my family is still there. I would move out to Vancouver Island any day, though.

Whoa, how'd you end up with all that snow? I'm in the SW and there wasn't any snow on the ground by my place this morning.

I ran into Paul Martin on the subway the other day, we're having a sit-down to talk about launching Calgary into space. Sit tight!

Its raining here on Vancouver Island. It should be sunny. At least you get the sun in the winter. Here it goes away at the end of October and we barely see it until February.

Hmm...I spent a ton of time there while in my commercial diving days. I was mostly in the Tofino-Ucluelet area, but spent plenty of time all over (Victoria, Port Hardy, Zeballos, Winter Harbor, Kyuquot, Nuchatlitz, Toquart Bay...basically all over the place). Beautiful island, but tends to be pretty wet.

Yes. The North and the West are usually very wet but the East and South are relatively dry. The rainy season runs Octoberish to Marchish so we should be fairly dry now. Usually by September we are running low on water and begging for the rain.
