I think it would be cool if apple could make the apple on the back of the laptops flash when people got a notification. It wouldnt have to be always on, but if you had it closed and you got a notification the apple would light up and you could check it. Do you think apple would ever do something like this?

No, since that would flash the whole screen, which would be annoying.

That light is actually the backlight of the LCD. So that would mean your screen would always have to be on, unless they changed the design.
