Pretty cool in a sense that X has delays/ships in early November, likely when iOS 11.1 will be out and HOPEFULLY software tested enough to not be rough like 11.0 with animation chop or just general x.0 builds ESPECIALLY on new hardware
Imagine if, since Apple announces new iOS’es with WWDC and betas, they released GM’s around the Fall since most people are familiar with the new changes from betas and its just more polished and not that much hype.. and new hardware is on a schedule later when a x.1 comes out with “one more thing” type new features, or just a more mature and less bumpy iOS.
People are definitely always more excited about new hardware than iOS, since the previous gen can get the same iOS, so why not let out iOS and let the bugs work themselves out then have the silkiest , smoothest hardware launches possible? The new hardware wouldnt be any less hyped, imo
11.1 could still be a buggy mess with this release, or X, or both, but just saying here: conceptually
