It would have been better to have a new iphone7

I feel today after seeing how Wall Street reacted to Apples new products,with Apple stock drop after the big Apple product showing.
I feel apple should have just made a brand new iPhone7 with a lot of brand new items like fast processor 2 or 3 Megs of memory and a larger battery, along with the better quality metal and tougher glass.
Myself if i was needing an upgrade from a iPhone 5 of an Android phone, I would quickly grab a iPhone6 before they were all gone. Save $100 and lose nothing till the iPhone7.
Just my thinking today.
