Hey. When I bought he 3rd gen iPad in Hamburg on launch day, I noticed it had dust between the display and the glass. I used it a lot (it's my first one) and it run out of juice - it was charged to about 70% when I first run it. I was surprised that a device could take so long to charge when I tried to plug it in before going to an Apple Store. I mean... It didn't seem to charge at all when I was using it simultaneously. It's that slow. I got maybe 2% in 20 minutes of no use.

So in the end a nice genius replaced my brand new iPad with a newer one - it took about 15-20 minutes. The new model had 90% of charge left :)

I'm writing this on my iPhone, as the iPad is charging and I didn't want to bring it to bed - I'd be too lazy to plug it in before falling asleep. And I can't imagine fully charging it during the day. :)

I just started considering returning it and going with the iPad 2 instead (is it possible?). I like the Retina diaplay a lot but I sure could live without it. And there's no LTE compatibility for Europe :(
