Hello! I was trying to get a small Java app to open on Panther and it would shoot towards the screen (like it's opening), but then never appears in the dock or is listed in running processes. I have another machine where I do not have this problem...actually, I've never had this problem. One odd thing I noticed was when I added it to the my startup items (login items), the 'Kind' was "Unknown" rather than "Application." I am a fairly new Mac user, so any feedback/help is appreciated. I just need to know why it's not getting recognized as an application. THANKS!
