Items in Stacks are having no picture

any new item i put into my stacks is not displaying a picture, just a black box where it should b..

heres a picture of it.

any suggestions on how to fix? i have nvr had this problem before. im running 10.6.3 and have had it for a bit now

edit: its not just any new item, its pretty much every item as i have checked my other stacks

I get the same thing sometimes, I'm guessing it's a bug in SL or our machines don't have enough RAM to handle those previews.

ive never had this before and its kinda annoying. does ur go back to normal by itself or do you have a to fix it?

For me it goes back to itself, it seems it's dependent on how many items you have in your stack, I have a stack for my download folder and sometimes it's very cluttered and then the phenomena is wide spread.
