Items pressed are grey and stays there..

I don't know if any of you have this problem, but the things I select still seem to be grey..this appears when I press on something and it turns grey but it doesn't actually go into it..another situation this occurs at is when I get back from where I pressed it..this doesn't necessarily happen in the Mail app..

Seen that before. It turns grey to confirm you actually touched the item but then kind of just "hangs". I just closed the mail app and restart it and seems to resolve the issue.

Generally speaking, especially when navigating menus, when you select something it should go to what you selected, rather than simply "highlight" it and that's it.
