I posted a similar thread in the iPad Hacks forum, but the only activity over there are the crickets chirping. :)

As of yesterday, the TetherMe-iTether BT connection between my iPhone4 and iPad will not let me get to the App Store from my iPad. It reports I need a WiFi connection. All other connections to the Internet work fine.

Is there a Cydia app that is similar to My3G that fools applications into thinking a BT connection is WiFi?

3G unrestrictor and my3G will both fool your phone into thinking its on wifi.

I went into Cydia to look at 3G Unrestrictor and it was marked as Already Purchased! I installed it and it didn't fool the App Store. I also had a license for My3G - that worked. Thanks for the suggestion.

After you installed 3G Unrestrictor did you add the App Store to the list of unrestricted apps? It removes the App Store restriction.

Good question. I did not. For some reason I thought the App Store would be on by default.
