iTether to Macbook Pro to iPad setup??

I've done a bunch of searching for how to set this up but can't seem to find any info on how to setup a wifi network for my iPad to access with itether running and usb'd to my macbook pro.

I'm in my wife's hometown in the middle of nowhere and have no wifi access.....please help!!

I've seen others on here post about sharing iTether's connection from one laptop to another machine.....how do I go about creating a shared network??
