The foundation course and exam is not so bad but the two 3 hour written exams are simply evil.

If you do decide to go down the ITIL route, make sure you do the courses a maximum of a two months before the exams.

It's a worth while certification to have if you want to progress through IT management.

You have to sit an authorised ITIL course before you can do the exams.

I got lucky I'm a trainer for the biggest IT training company in the UK so got my courses and exams for free. but if you have to pay, they are not cheap.
