I'm glad you guys like it! If you could leave a good little review on MU it would be much appreciated :D

I cannot get this to work for me at all. I have tried it on several different videos. I have tried saving to several different locations. I am using 10.2.8, iTunes 4.5, latest QT. I wait until the video is completely loaded. But I do not get a saved file showing up anywhere. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hmm, I tried to recreate this problem on my iMac which is running 10.2.8, and couldn't. I know I sometimes have trouble with new files showing up in the Finder, maybe that's the case?

I considered that the files weren't showing up in the finder, but I don't think this is the case. I repeated the "save" operation several times with the same filename and same location and the system didn't object. However, I have searched for files by name using all visibilities, but they don't exist on my hard drive. I have tried this so many times already, and it is really annoying me.

Sorry to hear it's not working. I'll have to look into this further, but thanks for being patient for now!

It's been easy to download the videos ever since iTMS first came out. Just let the file download completely, and you'll find it in your /tmp directory, with a filename starting with QTPluginTemp. I've been using this method to download the videos for months :)

Recently, I started using tcpdump instead, to get the actual URI of the video, which I then copy into Download Wizard.

but this little app is so much easier.

ok, i had no problems last night, near the last 1 i did it was completely downloaded, and it told me to "download the complete file" it wouldn't even let me go back and download ones that i already downloaded. could itms have been changed that quick to stop this?

I had the same problem but now it works ok: I did one of 3 things aand I'm not sure which exactly made it work...

1_try to save the file in a folder instead of saving to the desktop itself.
2_put the extractor in a folder, don't leave it on the desktop
3_don't rename the file in the dialog (?), rename it after you have saved it

I guess that maybe only one of these made it work, so try these one at a time and see where it starts working...

Hm... not working for me. All my software is up to date, and everything is going in folders.. unrenamed. Maybe it'll turn up in the finder a little later.

Might I suggest a way to tell when you click the button? There's a bit of delay between click and dialogue box, and that little confirmation means a lot to some people.

edit: Aha... it did work going right into my "movies" folder, rather than two folders into "movies." Maybe it's just picky.
