iPod touch itouch add to homepage problem please help!!!

I recently restored my itouch and now when I browse safari and I hit the + key all it says is bookmark it so I restored it again ANd its the same problem I need my add to homepage feature back and I'm using firmware 1.1.4 on an 8gb touch anybhelp is appreciated thanks

Do you have the JAN. software update? did it sync the apps?

yea I believe so I just got the itouch last week and when I connected it said updating

"Syncing Applications"
Can you wiggle?
Do you have the extra apps on your springboard?

So when you press the + button, yo DONT get the add to home screen option? try a restore...
