I had a jailbroken 1.1.3, i was just watching a video on youtube and the video froze. I sat there for like 5 min to see if it would go but with no luck. I then held my power button for like a min. It finally turned off, but when i turned it back on the screen had the itunes thing and the usb cord on my screen. Can someone tell me why my ipod will automatically go into recovery mode?

I'm not quite sure whether it was the iPod or you but either way, if you're on a Mac, connect the iPod to your Mac and run iNdependence for 30 odd seconds, booted it out of recovery once or twice for me
