itouch jailbreak question

so i have a itouch mac formatted. i want to jailbreak but am kinda hesitant to do it on my mac. can i jailbreak my itouch on my pc and then use it for my mac?

no jailbreak for your itouch.

you can jailbreak your ipod touch though.

Its the same program that runs on either a mac or win. I have Win 7 on my Blackbook and jail broke my iPod touch (2g) in Windows, but all my music, videos and apps are in my Os X iTunes. no problems yet. However, im not sure if its 3.0, or the fact that i jail broke it, but it seems quite unstable.

go to redsn0w.com and dld the redsn0w package for mac. then JB away. took only couple of mins for me.
