just bought 64gb iTouch but unlike my ipod classic I can use it as a hard drive but can't seem to find the iTouch as a hard drive. I was able to put songs through itunes and automatic put in the photos but still cant figure out how to use it as a hard drive like my ipod classic..its been 3 hrs...

If your iPod touch is still within the return period I suggest you return it. Then when the new iPod touches are announced on September 1 you can either A) Buy a 4th gen iPod touch or B) buy the 3rd gen at a much cheaper price.

The iPod touch does not have a disk mode per se. You will have to download an app that will allow you to use the available flash memory like a networked drive. You will have to have the computer and iPod on the same network and also the necessary client software on the computer to be able to transfer files between the two devices.

arrrrrrgh! thank you
i have a friend though that she had her itouch jailbreak then she was able to use her itouch as a hard drive
