iPod touch iTouch resale question

Hi guys, I got the iTouch for free with the student discount when I bought my MBP. I'm planning on reselling it over craigslist or ebay, but I was wondering if the warranty would still be valid for whoever purchases it. It's still factory sealed, maybe I could copy the reciept but I'm not sure if that helps. Is the warranty still valid if a resell it and if not what should I do to get the best price for me?

Yes, the warranty will still be valid as it is connected to the serial number, not the purchaser.

This might not help but the avg. price of a *used* *16GB* iPod touch is $247 on eBay.
