I have about 9 GB of music on my iTouch. I recently got a virus on my computer and I had to reboot, the songs I had on iTune got wiped out. I saved a few of the folders for iTune, but question is how do I get the music back to iTune.

Hypothetically, if your Touch was jailbroken, you'd potentially be able to SFTP the files back from the Touch. Of course, they'd all be named in the standard <8 random characters>.mp3, but I'm sure you could live with that.

However, since we aren't supposed to discuss jailbreaking here, I guess you could pray that the rumoured disk access for the iPhone gets extended out onto the Touch.

Take a look in the hacking section... from what I understand, it's not going to be pretty -- there's nothing AFAIK like Senuti or iPodRip that would just restore your iTunes library using the iPod as the source (you can do that with older iPods).
