Won't charge via the charger that plugs into the computer or via the one that plugs into the power outlet directly.

Both of these chargers work on our other family ipods.

Hardware problem, obviously - but I've had this one for awhile (the first touch sold in Seattle!). And I love this thing!

Guess I'm screwed?

Thanks!

What is your question? You ask a question and answer it yourself lol.

Yes, it is a hardware problem. It is the the iPod hardware problem, not your charger. You may be able to get it repaired if under warranty (I doubt it) or you're inclined towards purchasing a new one.

Thank you , Saber.

That was my fear - just wasn't sure if there was any prior indication of a reset fix or something.

I'll tkae it in and see whast they say - maybe I'll just have to get a new one!
