I havent been able to upgrade my iTouch2g from 3.0 to 3.1.3. I have done many different methods from using the downloaded ipsw to restore and did the update but neither works. I always get the error message 3194.
I tried adding a string of code to my hosts file in the system32 which was supposed to re-route the Apple connected to Saurik's but that didnt help either. I cannot seem to do this after hours of trying different methods.
It basically says something about it not eing the correct build and I see its usually when its verifying the update with Apple.
Is there a way to bypass this so I can upgrade to that firmware? I just want to upgrade my iTouch2G from 3.0 to 3.1.3! Please help me out.
