iTrip vs. other solutions

Is the iTrip the best solution for listening to your iPod in the car? I've read that there has been some issues with competing radio stations even if you use a low frequency. Does the car tape deck adaptor a better solution? Just wondering what the differences/pros/cons are.

Use the tape deck adapter. I have an iTrip. It's great for playing through my home sterio or radios at work but in the car you will likely get some static. I've also used iRock and still got too much static.

Nothing beats a hardwired solution - this includes the tape adapter.

However, for those like me with no choice in the matter - e.g. in-dash CD player, the iTrip proved best for me as it is compact and fits the form factor of the iPod - no stringy dongle-like things, shares the iPod battery - no extra batteries to worry about, and can broadcast to everything on the FM dial but 87.7mhz.

It is the only one that does any one of these, let alone all...
