It's either my ears are broken or my EarPods are.

The EarPods are a bit disappointing. I was using a Samsung earphone, the one that came with the Galaxy S3, and it has better bass. I wanted to throw these away.

Until I realized that if I pushed it a bit forward, I can hear a strong bass. Are my ears too big or are my EarPods too small?

How is your experience with the EarPods?

I was not expecting anything great from the EarPods, and I don't have the Samsung buds you speak of to compare them against. However, I think the EarPods are perfectly serviceable.

I'll agree with you that the EarPods emit very little to no bass, but I'm ok with that. If I want a fully fleshed out sound with bass, I have separate over-the-ear headphones for that.

What I enjoy most about these earbuds is that they are actually comfortable - perfect for keeping in a night stand for some pre-bedtime iPadding / iPhoning.
