the other day, first day it was warmer than expected. Everyone had the house windows open over night for the first time this year.
Out front, is a narrow 3lane city street. The center 3rd lane is a substantial raised median
about ~3am
sounded like a gun shot but a small car hit the abutment start. It comes to a point. the car was headed east but jumped into the other lane at impact. The small car also flipped up side down. The car continued in the opposit lane sliding could be 200 feet. Bars close here about 3am. Impressive. the street is very narrow after the city installed the comcrete median.

I tried to ignor the whole thing but... about 4am went out side just as they were loading the car on to a flat bed. the car and driver were in good shpae considering. Lots of fluids; oil gas on the road but nothing cought fire. The median tore up the bottum under carriage of the car.

its the city so you always here emergancy vehicles. Lately its when the sirens all stop and you know they are too close to the house.
have fun and of course be sorta safe.
