After a long (5 days he he he ) wait, I finally got my 24 inch iMac! The thing is huge! I was used to a 12 inch screen and it's basically 4 times bigger. But only after a day of use, I don't know how I lived without it. If anyone has any good documents on getting acclimated to the iMac let me know.

And for those of you wondering which one to go with, go for the 24 inch. It's totally worth it.

congrats!! it's a great feeling!
also, i'd avoid the 1.1 update if i were you. seems to cause more problems than it fixes.

This is very bad advice. I have installed the 1.1 update which includes bug fixes, and I have seen improvements in load times, lower operating temperature, etc. My advice would be to install every update Apple recommends for your new system.

That said, enjoy your new desktop real estate, you will love it.:D

at the very least it is a mixed bag. some have no trouble after the update and some have lots. so i guess it is better advice to at least read up on the issues people are having after the update. or at least be aware that the update is causing problems for some people.
for instance, i cannot restart or shut down. my iMac hangs every time now. i'm not experiencing the graphical problems others are reporting though. and yes, i'm sure plenty of people are not experiencing any problems. i was just trying to give fair warning.

Do you have a 320GB HDD? Your sig says 300 and there's no 300 option on the new iMac. Anyways congrats. :)
