Yes, I'm guilty of starting a self-gratifying thread of the sort that has been posted dozens of times since Feb. 26th :D

Playing with my brand new MBP! AirPort gave me headaches until I realized I needed to update my router's firmware for the latest N draft. Since then, haven't had any problems or dropouts.

Now to puzzle my way through all the settings! Wheeeee...
 
Stock 2.5 model... with 4gb RAM sitting next to me waiting to make it's way home... once I can pry myself away from the eye candy, of course ;)
 
Houston, we have a problem..

The RAM I purchased is pc2-6400, which has an 800mhz speed. The reason I bought it is that I know several people who used it with the previous rev. MBP. Turns out that it will not boot in a Penryn MBP though. Wonder what Apple did to make that happen... sigh...

Congratulations!! My MBP shipped today.. i got 2 days delivery so it should get here this weekend!
I also go the Stock new Penryn MacBook PRO 2.4 but upgraded the Hard drive to 250gig everything else like the 2gig ram, and stuff is stock. wait the $1999 is the stock one right? Well if it is, yeah tha'ts what i got but upgraded the hard drive.

Enjoy your new laptop, i just got my case to bring it places last night!!! i can't wait to get it
