what to do...i look in the activity monitor but theres nothing...

i got this from US and im in Sri Lanka...wwe have a authorized dealer here...can i get warranty from him to this?

Try reinstalling you OS after backing up your data and see if that fixes it

tell you this sir...from the day its bought...

it take few second to load an image...comparing to 256MB old PC its very very late...and even other things also ,,its not looks that much speed...

it cant be isnt it...just like windows laptop...it should open things fast isnt it?

i think theres a hardware failier in it

You could've installed something that made your mac slow, reinstalling the OS could be the solution. It could be a hardware failure, yes. Also, try bring it to the authorized dealer, I remember taking mine in and they tightened my hinge free of charge.

i diddnt update to the latest version yet...should i do that too...to do that no need to copy the data isnt it...only need to copy data is when insatalling a fresh copy rite?

i diddnt got a CD also...so how to do that?

Press cmd-r when booting to boot into recovery partition, from there you'll be able to either clean install OS X or do an archive and install.

Honestly, sounds to me like hardware failure such as a hard drive in it's last days, computers don't get slow out of nowhere.

you right sir...even that guy from the address the hard disk....it cant be from a software...cuz i know how clean it is....very lukily i had warranty....

after it was stucked i hold the power button to off and then turn on again...

but now its not turning on...it waits at the grey screen with apple logo...and a ball is sppining ...not that colour ball....

Take it to your reseller, Apple warranty is worldwide.

no sir...all my dj collection is there and its not yet been backup for anywhere...:(

Then get an external hard drive and get on with it!

You might be able to pull out the drive in the MBP and recover data using another computer.

just a quick thing to know...

am i getting 1 year coverage from the purchase date if i buy it from a unauthorized dealer?

hard disk replaced...all my dj collection lost ...coudnt recover them...i got nothing to loose now...

got it back from the shop...its working fast than never before...i think the hard disk issue were there when i first bought it....luky its came to dead before its ran out the warranty.......
