Hi all,

Hope you can help.

Currently I have an eMac and looking to upgrade and incorperate my home cimema system too.

The Plan.

I currently have a 42" Pioneer plasma running a Sony Blu Ray DVD & Sky HD. Sound is coming from a Sony 7.1 HDMi Home theatre system.

My computer desk is 20ft away on a desk the other side of the room.

My Idea is to get a Mac Mini (I'm limited on space) and mount it with the TV, AMP etc plug it directly into the TV and sound into the amp, Keyboard and mouse is wireless.

My issue is this, generally we use the computer and tv separately so can I run two screens of the mini? What i'd like to do is put a 20" apple screen on the computer desk(20ft away) theoretically I will only be using one screen at a time, would this maxtrox digital gizmo help me?

I will most certainly buy a 2.0GHz mini and change the hard drive for something large, up the ram to 4GB and change the DVD drive if required too!

Any idea on what HDD to get? I see most of them are 7200rpm is their a faster one?

If i can run to screens i'd want shithot image quality.... any idea on connection type i'd be able to use?

Thankyou all in advance for your greatly needed help:)
