When I connect the Iphone to my macbook, i tune will open then i get this message.

- This iphone is already activated. you may disconnect this i phone now.

When I press oky iphone will disappear form devices.

Can some one help pls

Some more details please,

What firmware are you running? Is it a new iPhone? Have you just started having this problem?

It is 2.2.1. unloked

when I bought it I was told to activate it, Then it did not have any carrier. So I did restore. Then this issue with itunes started.

Well, you can "unactivate" the phone by doing a restore through DFU mode, and starting again as if it was a new phone. That would solve this problem I guess.

How to do DFU mode:

(Mind you, if you're on a Macbook on 10.5.6 you should probably ignore this advice since DFU mode won't work)

I have done this step earlier. but it did not work.

In case I fail is their any other alternative to itunes that I can use.

Did you try:
(1) Rebooting your computer
(2) Uninstall and reinstall iTunes (make sure to get the latest release)
