iTune does not find iPhone

Hi Guys good day.
I just registered to post a thread for help.
My iTunes cannot find my iPhone, here is the info:
iTunes 10 : it worked well days ago, just failed now. i didnt change any setting.
iphone 2G: jailbroken, but worked well days ago with iTunes 10, just failed now.

I have reinstalled iTunes10, restarted PC, restarted phone, everything, and also checked the Win7 compatibility.

I attached the error message and hope someone knows what is going on with message and can help me. Thanks a lot.

Make sure that there is no dust in the dock connection. This can cause a break in signal from the phone to the computer

plug it into a diff pc and try a diff cable

hi guys, just few more info here.

when i plug the iphone in, the pc starts charging the phone and recognises it as a hard drive. but nothing happens to iTunes.

hi , thanks for the reply. I am sure there is no dust, because the cable can charge the phone and i can access the photos through the cable.

Did anyone see this error message before?
