iTune filenames are all wacky, how to rename?

So I downloaded a bunch of audio in .mp3 format that I drag onto iTunes.

The filenames are like 213.mp3 or 23.mp3

When I plugin my ipod, the filenames are all wacky looking.

Why is that? (note: the .mp3 audio is not in english)

Can I rename them so they show up as 213.mp3 on my ipod also?

If you're looking to rename them on the iPod you cannot.

If you want them renamed in itunes, just do a get info on the songs and rename them or do a batch rename outside of iTunes and prior to importing them into itunes
