Itune or 4.1 Problem??

I am not sure which program's problem is.

I recently download the itune 10 and upgraded my iphone 4 to 4.1

But when i connect the iphone through USB the itune won't automactically pop up as usual.

any ideas?

Seems like iTunes Helper is not running.

Just a rookie here but I did see this. Go ahead and sync it even if you have to turn itunes on manually. On the first page of the different sync tabs towards the bottom is a check box. It says start itunes automatically when this iphone is plugged in. Not verbatim but close! Has to be checked.
