I was wondering it was possible to manually place files into the iTunes TV Shows library without having purshaced them from the iTMS. I have just ripped season 5 of Curb to H.264, but when I copy them to iTunes they go straight into the Movies section, and changing the genre tab to TV Shows has no effect.

EDIT: Figured it out, it's under the Video tab not accessible when selecting multiple files.

Does anyone know any way of getting this feature accessible for multiple files? Moving whole seasons across from Movies to TV Shows one at a time is not much fun.

Lostify

Have you tried using an application called "Lostify?"

Lostify allows you to change all the metadata (Description, rating, episode number etc.) in an iPod compliant video file.

"pleaderwilliams" Just found this aswell, appears you can update multiple files at once
