I have just ripped a James Blunt cd 'All the lost souls' in AAC 128 with the following settings: sample rate on auto, channels on auto, VBR on, HE off, optimize for voice off, error correction on.
I noticed that two tracks (Annie and I can't hear the music) have a lower bit rate than 128, namely 127 and 126. I always understood that VBR in Itunes means that 128 will be the lowest setting.
Then I ripped the two tracks again but this time in the default setting 'highest quality 128 kbps'. In this setting VBR is automatically turned off. The two tracks got even a lower bit rate, namely 122 and 121. Shouldn't all the tracks be 128 in these setting?
Thanks a lot!
