Well it turns out I had an unsynced Johnny Cash song stuck on my phone. Clicked download and it's now playing on the Laptop.

sadly if you are running windows 64 bit does not work yet. They still have not updated that one yet.
 
this is pretty cool. just popped up on my phone about 20 seconds later. but it's not showing up on my laptop (a different computer). Is it supposed to do that too?
 
Still not available through software update :-(
Also, does 10.3 bring any benefits to UK users at the moment? Seeing as we don't have iCloud for Music yet :(
