I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 running Windows XP SP3 with 2GB RAM.

I have tried to install iTunes 10 and get the following error message: "The instruction at "0x7c91b21a" referenced memory at "0x00504d55". The memory could not be "written"."

Then when I go to start iTunes I get the following message: "Service 'iPod Service' (iPod Service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

I have full administrative rights on my machine. I was running prior versions of iTunes with no problem. I tried uninstalling all iTunes related software
(iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support,
Bonjour, Apple Application Support) and restarting my machine to do the install and got the same result, only the referenced memory value was different.

What can I do to make this work?
