The interplay between iTunes and iBooks is terrible. And this coming from a sophisticated Mac user.
I don't want to bore you with all the problems with this setup and interface. Those problems have been so well documented in these forums. Bottom line, it sucks, badly.
Bring back drag-and-drop. Period. If I want to put a book on the iPad, let me drag it into the iPad. If I want to delete a book from the iPad, allow me to select and delete -- just like we used to be able to do with the old iTunes and the books tab -- which is now totally gone, at least for me, since Mavericks and iBook app.
Oh, a special message to Ivey and Cook: stop trying to force people into the damn iTunes store with this crap-ass interface between iBooks and iTunes. I now make it a point to not purchase any books or music on iTunes because of this abomination.
Freaking sad I have to use a third-party app like Calibre to be able to manage the library directly, in a manner I see fit.
