Finally! But only by clicking the Check for Updates menu item. Is still 11.0.5 on apple.com
 
If only there were a whole bunch of threads about this already, including a whole front page article.
 
iTunes says there is an update, but nothing is downloading.

Edited to add: Took 6 tries to get it to actually start downloading 11.1 and then it stops and gives me an error. It didn't fully download. grr
 
Still doesn't work for me, whether I try to download it from the website or through iTunes. In iTunes after I click yes to download 11.1, I see "Accessing the iTunes store" for just a split second but then it goes away and nothing happens.

Keep trying. Mine was the same way. Their servers must be getting hit hard right now.
 
The download finally came up, but when it actually starts downloading it says the file is 20 MB (which of course is wrong) and then gives an error after it downloads.

Did that a few times, but now it's back to not coming up at all.

Oh well.
