it will be out either today or tomorrow guaranteed otherwise there will be a lot of complaints to apple why users can not sync there music, photos, etc. to there iOS devices.

When they are gonna release it? How can we update if there's no iTunes?

You update from the phone. And, you can update from the current iTunes. The only thing that won't work is trying to sync your data between iTunes and your phone. But, if you upgrade (and don't restore), there will be no need to do that.

Either way, I'd expect them to update iTunes within the next few days.

I don't wanna update from my iPhone, because I need fresh install and sync back my stuff.

I don't think you need it - you just want to do it. And I'm not sure why? Apple intends for you to update, there should be no need to fresh install unless you're having major software issues.

system requirements for the new iPhones requires iTunes 11.1 so it will be out today or tomorrow.

maybe they are not releasing iTunes 11.1 till the day of iTunes radio launch, which is tomorrow.

Just restore 6.1 new. Restore backup from iTunes. Sync your music. Upgrade to iOS 7. Wait for iTunes 11.1 release.

Or wait til iTunes 11.1 release tomorrow.

Why sync an iOS device with a computer any more?

Any music or apps I buy on itunes can be downloaded via icloud. Any photos I take on one device are automaticaly sent to my other device via photostream.

So what does one really need iTunes 11.1 for? I'm confused. I can't remember the last time I plugged my iphone 5 into my computer.

My ipad I plugged in only to drag over copies of DVD movies that I converted into the right format and copied into my iTunes library (so I could watch them on a long airplane ride). Would I even need 11.1 to do that?

99% of my music originates from sources other than iTunes. I think that is the case for a lot of people.

Also, I want to restore my iPhone to iOS 7 and use a backup to restore my settings because I currently have almost 2GB of useless "other" space (restoring usually solves the situation). Without iTunes 11.1, this cannot be done with iOS 7.
