Ok so, a while back (probably back when iOS 5 launched) I lost my PC with about 5k songs worth, but the good thing is I had it on my iPhone. So I could just upgrade the iPhone OS and not worry about losing my songs. Recently I've been wanting to add more songs to my library but iTunes 11.1 wants me to replace the library with songs on my current library. Anyone know how to add the songs on top of my existing songs?

All support appreciated

That is always been an "issue" with standard apple software - the expectation is that your music is in iTunes and only goes in one direction - to the phone. So any sync will take from iTunes and replace what is on phone.
There are third party ways to get the music off your phone and onto the PC or MAC and added to iTunes so you can sync all. Google search will find those tools for you.

And then after you get your music back on your PC or MAC - back it up. Or iTunes Match and store in the cloud.
