hello,
As many of you must remember, earlier in iTunes there was an option to uncheck the sync apps option so that when you sync your ipad or iPhone the apps dont transfer automatically to the Mac.

However, with iTunes 11,it no more shows that option-so like is there a way to prevent iPad from transferring all it's apps to the Mac ? I really don't need to have all those 1 gb iOS games on my Mac.

This article may be of interest to you. It seems that iTunes 11 no longer automatically transfers purchased applications between iOS devices and the Mac, and expects you to re-download it instead. I haven't looked into this behavior, myself. It's presented as a problem by the author of the article, but it seems like it might be a beneficial behavior for you.

Have the applications automatically been transferred to your Mac when you tried syncing?
