iTunes 11 - how to I sync only CHECKED songs

Hi,

K i just updated my iphone to ios7 and my itunes to 11.1 which sucks.

My summary page when i click my iPhone on iTunes is saying my iphone is basically empty I wanna know how to sync only my checked songs... as in the songs that I have clicked the tick box. I only want them, surely that cant be hard.

Also for some reason before all this it said my iphone was 18gb over capacity as if I added all the unchecked songs as well.

Please let me know how to solve this problem it shouldn't be difficult.

While you're at it, tick off the "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128kbps AAC" option. That'll save you a bit of space as well.

I have this ticked. My songs are still visible in my iphone but when i try play them the text goes grey on them and the song doesn't play. I'm trying to clear everything and just try sync again and see if that works but thanks for your response.

Also seems to be stuck on "waiting for items to copy" message which I think is a big everyone is experiencing
